Overview

Grief is a universal human experience, yet many helping professionals receive limited training on how to confidently assess, understand, and support individuals navigating loss.

Helping professionals regularly work with clients experiencing the death of a loved one, cumulative losses, traumatic grief, or significant life transitions while also navigating their own emotional responses.

This interactive training provides a practical, trauma-informed framework for understanding grief across the lifespan while strengthening assessment skills, intervention strategies, and community resource knowledge. Participants will explore how grief presents differently across individuals and cultures, learn approaches that foster meaningful clinical conversations, and leave with practical tools they can immediately integrate into practice.
