Overview
“Racism is a social virus. Racial equity consciousness is the vaccine.”
Grounded in the Racial Equity Consciousness Institute’s guiding message, this training introduces the Structured Cognitive Behavioral Training framework developed by Dr. Ron Idoko and presented in his Illuminating the Vaccine for Racism guidebook.
Participants will explore the four dimensions of racial equity consciousness—dispositions, knowledge, awareness and skills—and learn how the REP cycle of reflection, education and praxis supports continued development.
Through application across the framework’s six bilateral spheres, participants will leave with a structured, replicable approach for strengthening racial equity consciousness within themselves and the clinical, organizational and community systems they serve.
